Picture the scene...it's Middlesbrough on a cold December evening. Crowds are gathering to catch a glimpse of one of the world's biggest stars. Accompanying her is an up and coming singer, a star of the future - Teesside's own Amelia Lily. People are clambering to get a glimpse of the duo, hoping to get a quick word with them.

Finally, they emerge and stop and chat to the waiting fans and what is it on everyone's lips? "Have you had a parmo yet?" Only in Teesside!

In fact, so big was the furore surround Teesside's favourite dish meeting a world famous star that she turned to the world for answers - "Middlesborough! (sic) Everyone is telling me to go get PARMO...what is it??"

Well, she didn't have to wait long! Surely expecting some fine European cuisine, Kelly was later faced with a gut busting, full dinner plate sized Teesside Parmo causing a further tweet of "WHAT? They EAT this shit?!" (ok, I made that bit up).

Not wanting to be a killjoy, Kelly duly tackled the monster. Rumour has it she is still doing sit ups to work off the calories two days later!
